Sylvie and Max Librach are the co-directors, of JLIC Nachlaot. Max is from Toronto and studied at McMaster University, where he was involved in just about every aspect of Jewish life on campus! He served as president of Hillel, led Israel on Campus, and learned with students through Maimonides (Ohr Sameach). He was a driving force behind strengthening Jewish life at McMaster and helped pave the way for JLIC to eventually launch there. He then went on to pursue a Master’s of Science degree at University of Toronto (UofT) before fulfilling his long-time dream of studying in Yeshiva at Shapells in Jerusalem, where he has been learning for the past two years, BH!
